Hi! I’m Lauren, and I live in the beautiful city of Edinburgh.

I’m a freelance copywriter and content strategist, with over five years’ experience of working in SEO. I can work with you to ensure your website is optimised for relevant terms that your audience is searching for, and to create engaging, insightful content that will establish you as an authority in your vertical and gain you visibility in the search engine results pages.

A little about me

My background is in literature and creative writing, and I’m the proud holder of both an MA in Scottish Literature and an MLitt in Creative Writing from the University of Glasgow.

After a brief stint living in Vienna and a year or two of waiting tables, I served my time at an SEO agency, where I worked my way up from Copywriter to Digital Content Lead. There, I learned that I love solving problems for clients by coming up with creative content solutions that will answer their users’ questions, whilst providing a boost to their SERP visibility.

I’ve created content and devised search-led strategies for a range of clients, including Tesco, BT, B&Q, Toys R Us and New Look, and I can’t wait to see how I can work with your brand to improve your web copy!
